Jose should be Roman's top priority whatever the price.....If not Jose, keep di matteo..... this might be di matteo's chance to shine, who knows??

If Di Matteo was to do a good job over the next few months, do you think RA would give him the job permanently? Let's just say you were to win the FA Cup and secure 4th. That's not going to be easy, but your only 3 points away from 4th, and youve got a good draw at home to leicester in the Cup next, so not impossible.

I bet Di Matteo will see this temporary position as a massive opportunity, to prove he could do the job permanently. It's amazing aswell how many caretaker managers do end up getting the job fulltime

I doubt RA would give Di Matteo the job full time. He likes big name managers, RdM isn't a big name manager, so even if he were to win the FA cup, champions league, and finish top 4, i doubt he'd get the job full time.

I'm suprised Jurgen Klopp of Borussia Dortmund hasn't been mentioned. He turned around an underacheiving side, changed the mentality (he favours youth, and is a big promoter of youth academies), and won the title last season, and they're on course to win again. He isn't the sterotypical Abramovich manager, but he's tactically flexible, a good motivator, and popular with the media and weirdly, opposition fans.

Hmm....only 3 candidates: Mourinho, Guardiola & Moyes. The first two would be like owning a ferrari, expensive and costs an awful lot to run (annual transfer kitty-interesting given EUFA's financial regs 2013). Moyes on the other hand is frugal can operate on a tight budget and has a proven history of blooding youngsters; as for the others: SGE & Capello.......boring, Benitez unpopular, Zola....way too nice. Now Barry Fry, there's a name to bring back the glory days!

Benitez has won the Champions League once, not twice. He has won the UEFA cup (as was) and reached two Champions League finals with one win.

But Benitez is not a serious candidate for Chelsea after all the ill-feeling whilst he was Liverpool manager and the whole Garcia non-goal farce.

If he won the C.L he'd keep the job, I'm certain of that. However not something that is going to happen anyway!!

I doubt Robbie wants the job anyway.
He'll still leave this summer as he was going to anyway.

He definitely appears to have what it takes to succeed. His team plays attractive football, and most importantly, ALL his players play to the best of their ability for him.
