I wasn't even a sperm in '86 so no idea how it was split but I asked the question on another forum and the official box office figure was 47,000 according to them so I'll put your comments down to the classic HammersmithB propaganda.

 

I remember the days of the plastic pitch when Chelsea were in town and the programme notes stated that the price of the programme had been increased because the majority of the support would be Chelsea fans and the price is in line with the price that they were used to paying. We had the MAJORITY at your ground. Enough said methinks.

Official box office bollocks

 

Watford trust me i was at the game. Oxford had about 25-30K tops and the rest of the ground was QPR (or a few that were supporting us for the day). When Oxford scored only a small section cheered. When we sang the Steve Wicks chant the whole ground was buzzing!

Don't listen to these 'make it up' muppets who have only been Chelsea since Roman. We all know the new Chelsea and how the sneek in and out of LR.

Long gone are the old Chelsea and i know because i still drink with a lot of old faces and they tell me how much the fans have changed.
I will let these deluded muppets enjoy making up these gates but remember i was at Chelsea games with 15K gates. the days when you paid on the day from a small kiosk.

Sadly most of you on here won't know that or will just claim to have been there. Anyway off back to a real club with real fans, yeah we have won pretty much nothing but we are a proper club.
