My point was we get much worse press on similar offences yet chelsea dont. Some people will say "because of suarez we were already in the spotlight" but then terry was in the spotlight before they made those chants ! I think it's impossible to say that Liverpool havent had a raw deal here compared to similar events at chelsea.
we are already charged fr the crimes we are about to commit.. do you know who much the club pays per year for policing? If we were all nice and did nothing then the ploice would prob collapse due to lack of government funding. Thats all part of the costs of running any club... ploicing at match days is paid in full. chelsea got what they got we got what we got and nothing is going to change that.... its b nice to think our guys would work harder on the pitch and not wilt but there you go.
Chelsea as a club has mollified the media and FA by clearly stating they will do all anyone can to stop racism. The backing for JT is the same anyone will give a colleague in initial circumstances of an allegation. I'm sure some of those would change their minds if he is proved in law to have done wrong and he will need to make amends. Not only do Chelsea say they will stop racism, in the past they have demonstratably done so. I do not believe someone like Paul Canoville would associate himself today with Chelsea if this were not the case. Racism is insidious and you don't stop it in football merely by removing and banning racists from ground and club memberships. Racists aren't born, they are made, they are extremists and they congregate with like minded ignorents. Like any extremism you may not be able to change a hardened attitude but have to persevere.
