We should just have a Luka Modric thread as a sticky and everything related to Modric can be discussed on there instead of a new thread everytime someone at either Spurs or Chavski mention Modric.
It was crossboard as a question from a Spurs fan to any Chelsea fan not to ashamed to debate their barrow boy small club attitudes
It descended into nothing more than a load of abuse, and by the lack of comments no one on our board was interested and I asked PNP to remove it...which he agreed was the right thing to do.
We all know that silly language is made up. Te, te, te, Chris Waddle. Boutros, boutros ghaly.
Muy divertido. However, if you live in Spain, as I do, it helps greatly to show a little respect, and try to learn the language. If you owned a shop, and some idiot came in jabbering away in Spanish, and expected you to understand, you would, more than likely, tell them to come back when they can speak English. Unfortunately, a lot of Brits don't see the irony of going to somebody elses country, and doing exactly the same thing to them.
A mate of mine went out with this girl from Ibiza for a few years, so naturally he learned the language. When a few of us went on holiday to Palma he went into the same shop every day or two to buy ***s. Whatever language he used to speak to the lady that served him, she would reply in the other one!
Chelsea FC in a nutshell. See also: Spending a whole press conference talking about another teams' player and how they'd fit in well at Shamford Bridge, then finishing it by saying "But it's disrespectful to talk about other clubs' players."
Sky Sports News said Spurs have rejected 2 bids this summer of £30million and £33million. I thought they bidded £22million and then £27million?
It's not like Newscorp to make things up for the sake of having a story. Oh, hang on... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14342766
