The only player I thought Spurs bought who was an improvement on players they already had was Christian Eriksen. And maybe Lamela but he has just downright disappointed. Spurs bought Soldado when they should have signed Negredo.
Chiriches is good too and so was Capoue before he got injured and then fell out with Sherwood. Lloris is touted as the best keeper in the division. As I often say, judge them at the end of this season. Even Soldado has fantastic technique, so if his poise in front of goal returns, he will be fantastic. And Negredo wouldn't come to us over City would he. As you lot know, money talks.
Looks as if Levy will have to buy a bottle of ink and fill up the pen before he signs anyone. That might be just too much for him to spend !! Sure RA would lend him a fiver if he asked nicely.
