    hehe I get ya,
But a ****ty season for us would be being down in Liverpool's position.
For reigning Champions to be 14th and 2 points from the drop zone nearly halfway into the season isn't a ****ty season, it's a DELTMOWN season!! <laugh>

Dude it will only mean that when we get it in gear and win the league, can you imagine the tears on Wengers face , of the ultimate, win the Champions League and stopping the yids from qualifying yet again :D

They've changed the rules I believe, so that wouldn't happen.

Regardless, you can probably afford to drop 10 points across the next 23 games to have a chance.

Agreed and I'm not even looking at top 4 now. Until we can go and win 3,4, 5 games in a row, very little point looking at it.

It's all about next season for me. Seeing in the next few months which players/staff are worth keeping around, blooding some of the youngsters and trying to get as far in the cups as we can.

A massive spending spree in January looks foolish as well as you could make a case for replacing half of the first team if current form is anything to go on so who could you get that will realistically turn it around sufficiently enough at a sensible price? .

Agreed. Matic and Suarez notable (fairly) recent signings though.

Probably better than you think, most people who watch football will realise they are better than their position shows.

They are missing 4 star players (which shouldn't affect teams like Chelsea or United but is hard on a squad as light as theirs).
I really hope they stay up and have another go at the PL with a full squad.

I was no Bournemouth fan last week when they beat us but I've really warmed to them after watching them beat Manchester United yesterday. I thought John Terry made some good comments about Bournemouth on SKY. Bournemouth's work rate / run rate is phenomenal - how long will they be able to keep that up before burning out?
