Very good performance Chelsea fans, super impressive and will silence the critics for a while... I wonder who the press will target next? Wenger I guess, unless Liverpool or City go on a bad run.

Nice dig at United there, personally I believe (biased opinion I know) that De Gea's shot stopping is second to none, it's only crosses that he struggles with occasionally, so I would bet good money that he wouldn't have conceded more goals if he had been playing. Some of those shots were unstoppable though, you would need two goalkeepers to stand a chance at saving them.

He is a great keeper and a brave man too. A football is a very dangerous object, and goalkeepers in particular have a short lifespan.

Rather ironic don't you think? Given that Petr Cech is your keeper, after everything he went through...

Good goal from Torres, he put his life on the line heading that.

Sir Tennisball. I think you'll find Cech received a deliberate knee to the skull resulting in a serious head injury that could have ended his career thus requiring him to wear the scrum cap for every game due to the metal plates inserted into his head. RVP got a football to the back if the head. Deliberate or not it's not exactly life threatening.

Thoroughly disgusted with how wasteful Chelsea were in front of goal. We must take our chances in this league. It smacks of a lack of professionalism when the team can't be bothered to go full out on every opportunity. Piazon should be sacked for crimes against regular penalty takers. Villa got off lightly due to our profligate clowning around in the last third.

Amazing result and amazing game !! One of our best performances and to think it came when Mata wasn't as good as he normally is !!

And District De Geas actually a really good keeper, i rate him highly and much better than Hart, i was laughing at him when he first joined as he did look like Barthez #2 but he has improved massively and is still only 21, him and Courtious will be the best two keepers in the world in future

I didn't say he wasn't. I rate De Gea and Courtois far higher than Hart and Sczesney (both of whom are overrated IMO)

Our goal difference is the same as both Manchester clubs now and we have a game in hand. United's defense is dodgy so they are bound to slip up. Evans isn't a convincing centre back he makes a lot of mistakes they will concede goals.

United have already peaked, don't buy into the BS being spouted in the media the best is yet to come, this is as good as they really are. Fluke wins against Chelsea and Liverpool amongst others which they were gifted by refs. The days of United being able to dominate teams for 90 minutes away from home are long gone. Chelsea and City will only get better, we've got some very winnable home games coming up. Don't see why we can't win all of them tbh, Arsenal are probably the toughest but they ain't all that.

Chelsea will end up with the best GD, I'm sure of that.

Df-- Strange! I was having the same thoughts! That Rafa needs to get his act together! If we dont score 10 on Boxing Day , Romans going to need a new manager!
