Contact was made before he went down. He made a meal of it, but I'm sure he wasn't really looking to go down.

This. Haven't seen the Chelsea penalties to comment, but it's odd how almost identical fouls are so very different depending on whether they were committed against a Utd player or another team's player. Ditto when the foul is committed by a Utd player or by another team.

    Not it wasn't.

I was saying that when Man Utd got penalties in 2 straight games we had people moaning and crying that Man Utd were cheating (whilst ignoring whether the penalties were correctly given or not) but when another side gets penalties in 3 straight games no-one says a ****ing thing about it.

I don't give a **** that Chelsea have had penalties in 3 straight games. My gripe is that had it been Man Utd there would be uproar.

I suggest you learn to read properly.

When United had 2 offside goals in the 3-1 win againts Chelsea last season, there was no uproar.

When United had 2 dubious penalties in the 3-3 draw againts Chelsea, there was no uproar.

But when drogba scores an offside goal againts United.... Wow!

I find it somewhat ironic that a United fan would be shouting the injustices of favourable treatment by referee's. The difference between us is we are always glad to recieve a penalty but unlike United fans we don't think we have the right to expect one or more in every game.

Maybe you should learn to read because it seems to me that the OP doesn't shout about the injustices of favorable treatment but about the conspiracy theories that always follow when the decisions go in United's favor. If United had benefited from three penalties in a row (it wouldn't make any difference if the decisions were blatantly correct or not) plus a clearly offside goal people would be calling for an investigation into the FA because it must be a clear sign of corruption.

And for the record, we don't think we have a right to expect one or more in every game, we think we have the right to expect one whenever there is a foul in the box regardless of how many have gone before it in the same game.

There is loads to complain about.

Also, United get less decisions than most top clubs simply because we are the ones in the spotlight because people like District Line and the scousers cry like ****ing girls everytime the whistle blows in our favour.

Just watch the Everton game. Welbeck should have had a pen when he was hacked out from behind.

Are you referring to the penalties Young got against QPR and Villa?

It's nice to know that we're not considered an "easy" game.

Hence the inverted commas. There's no easy game in the premier league. Or is that international football? Getting my cliche's mixed up.

I think you've misunderstood, Chelsea's game Vs us is at Loftus Road.

No, I didn't misunderstand. Was merely having a joke. Maybe it was a **** joke, probably was. I'm restoring our dining room chairs on a piss wet bank holiday so am lacking humour inspiration.

You're not looking hard enough, there's one about Kagawa.

Maybe we should start threads about how we're going to play like Spain. I'll start, Carrick can play up front in the false striker role, with Valencia behind him pretending to be Iniesta. It'll work, it really will.
