Quite an incredible performance from the lad. Of all our young stars this guy shines the brightest. I can only compare him to Scholes, small in stature see's the bigger picture, is calm under pressure and better than Scholes in the tackle. I cannot wait to see him to play with Loftus Cheek, I think they could be sensational.

We owed you a loss at some point too. Great game. If only our finishing were better we’d have given you a proper hiding.

Two years ago a younger Pedro would have chipped the goalie when through.

Aye, you can see Pedro doesnt have the legs any more too.
More than once he had the opportunity to run at the goal and he couldn't do it.
Pedro should go in the summer

Initially yes but it’s based on potential further payments based on progress

Going by last night's performance, you'll be due us some serious cash then!

He has been tipped to be the next best thing in Scotland for years, even when he was 14 or 15, glad he is getting a chance under Lampard. On another note, I used to have a season ticket for the Matthew Harding Lower stand about 15 years ago when I lived in Putney. Good times.

Pedro certainly didn't have the legs to finish that chance but that was partly due to the work he put in all night. Great shift from him.

Gilmour, very exciting performance. Hopefully he gets a few more games over the coming weeks, especially with Jorginho suspended for the next 3 and Kante still out.

Nice to be talking about a decent result and performance at home. Been far too few of those this season. And still a trophy up for grabs though going to be a strong quarters assuming both Manc clubs get through. Of course we'll inevitably get United!!

Yeah you know we will get United now!
When is the draw? is it tonight?

I was rooting for Reading to get past the Blades and was hoping we got them in the next round.

I honestly wouldn't mind him staying for another season. He put in a great shift last night and an experienced player who has " been there and done that " is always a plus in the dressing room. He also plays with great enthusiasm and a smile on his face.

It looked as if most of the "suspect" players lifted for Pool, Pedro, Alonso, Zouma, Giroud, Willian till his injury, Kepa, they looked like they'd all had an engine transplant. The whole team played like they did early season ,quicker, more attacking. Gilmour plays miles above his years, what a star in the making.

One game mate, so let's not overreact.

Hopefully we can get some consistency.

So pleased that we did not sign another regista in January window to go with/replace Jorghino.

Billy G would never have played on Wednesday if we had

Not overeacting, just saying we played well. If they can get up like they did for that game, a lot of the problem has to be attitudinal. Mind you, with the midfield more attack minded as they were, everything works better.Young Gilmour showed older players that forward beats backwards or sideways pretty much every time.
