Roller, I was just happy when we got you back. Never expected or wanted you to be a Mod Love your stuff and have masive respect for you. My only request is that you PLEASE hang around. Thanks for all your hard work...esp with wan***s like myself and Swords. Keep the faith mate...
Thanks for your work on here Roller, hopefully you'll have more time for the blog now. I think we all enjoy that, as others have said, please don't be a stranger.
Well done Roller on all your hard work on this board - truly don't know where you found the time, or the patience to deal with some of the heated issues that have appeared here. Your level-headedness will be missed - please keep posting pal
A job very well done Roller and thank you for your perserverence in difficult times. It was also a pleasure to have met you last year at the Charlton game and shared that match with you.
Thanks Roller for all the hard work, it must be draining dealing with some of the crap on here, nobody can say you weren't fair and even, enjoy your retirement
Thanks, Roller, for all your efforts. Skilled modding, and you and Nines made a great team. The time and attention needed is considerable and you've both made a huge contribution to the board. Hope you stay around and keep posting
I wondered how much longer you'd put up with the crap Roller, you've had the patience of a saint to last this long, thanks for all you've done and I can't imagine there will be too many volunteers to take your place...
Being stuck in the armpit of the Middle East this forum has been an invaluable link to all things QPR and West London. You've helped make it an (almost) sane place with rational debate. Thank you for your reasoned modding, the Brix Prediction League and your blogs. Hopefully you're going to stick around?
I would like to echo thoughts and respect paid to 'Roller' for his continued efforts as a mod. Many thanks, mate.
Thank you for your kind words and for the PMs which I will reply to slightly quicker than Neil Warnock! I was going to unsticky this and allow proper threads vie for position at the top of the forum, but I can't
Sad to see you go mate but understandable. My post count has dropped over the last month or so cos a lot of mayhem has been flying about. (Got enough of it in the non digital realms to face it here too.) Wouldn't want to have been in your shoes for it. Here is my thanks for the thankless task you've done so well for so long. I can only remember darkening your door once with my reactions to some of the other teams wums. I think we'll all miss your level headedness, and subtle guidance. Stay safe mate.
Great decission Simon go forth and muliply. As many have said can't believe you lasted this long as a poster I havn't been the very active over the past year and it is easy to turn your back and ignore the mayhem when you wish, however helping to run this must seem a bit like trying to keep order in "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" type of place and for that both you and Nines have my admiration. Hope we can meet whenever I am over?
Thanks, and well done indeed as a Mod Roller. Which makes me wonder why are Moderators called Mods, and not Rockers?
