Understand. I just feel that a judge doesn't quash a conviction unless there's serious doubts about the validity of the conviction. Unless something has changed, where are the grounds to prosecute again?

 

I always find it best in such instances, to see a picture of the gal concerned and then make a judgement on looks alone. If she's fit she's innocent, but if she's HIAG's idea of a wet dream then guilty. Much more reliable (and satisfying) method.

 

Tbf at the time he was a convicted rapist and I would not want him playing for arsenal even if he was on the level of Messi. But now he's been found as innocent I think he should sue those who sent him down

My understanding is he has not been found innocent. He has had his conviction quashed. It is near impossible to make a judgement as the new evidence has not been revealed.

True. My understanding is that the appeal judge has quashed the conviction due to 'significant new evidence' but will not allow this to be made public.

I guess the ball is now in the DPP's court to decide if they still feel they have a case.
