He should train in Vegas. Would make sense

The fights is in July anyway ffs

Trev knows too.

This goes back to my earlier point: Diaz has rattled him massively. McGregor is realising the huge task he's taken on. Before the first Diaz fight when he was in cruise control using bravado as fuel and his undefeated streak as currency, he was untouchable. He talked the talk and walked the walk. Now, however, he's ****ed up, because he got the fight he wanted (albeit not RDA) which was moving up weight divisions, but in doing so got a spanking from someone who, for the best part, has been a consistent UFC fighter but a bit of a journeyman. Now, months later and when he's set to fight Diaz again, it's settling in to him that he is going to struggle massively again.

Should never have moved up to 170lbs, should have stayed at 145, spanked the entire division (like he said he would), and then moved to Lightweight. Allowing Diaz to bulk up to 170 was cocky and stupid.

FTQ

Maybe McGregor has though.

If White has backed down, then I suspect there'll be uproar from the majority of fighters. **** pay, all having the same promotional events to attend, and there's McGregor dictating what he does and doesn't have to do <laugh>

100% Truth. Potential for a cross-city truce to be created between The LYT and the POOVES so that the fisting of underage cuties can be enjoyed by all.

How has McGregor backed down? It was White who said 100% that McGregor wouldn't fight in it.

UFC still hasn't made a statement. I also said MAYBE, you know, as in we still don't know the facts as to what's happened or been agreed upon. I daresay McGregor will be meeting his promotional requirements though. You do realise it's possible for McGregor to act like a fanny, regardless of him being Irish?
White had commented last week that McGregor's reluctance to do the promotional work for UFC 200 made it unlikely he would feature at the event, but it appears a compromise has now been reached.

There has been no official confirmation from UFC of McGregor's return.
