Yes, I'd vaguely heard that a player, playing for Lazio had owned up to a handball, and it restored my faith in football, to some extent. You also make an excellent point about Klose being wrestled and yet not being awarded a penalty. In a sport where both teams players will sometimes cheat on even the most minor of decisions, e.g. they raise their arms to claim the ball is theirs, when it goes out of play, Klose's decision was very welcome. I hope his action is recognised and duly praised.
Yes but at the same time the ref should be brave enough to give free kicks and penalties if the player is fouled and manages stay on his feet
The ref should let play continue to see if the player gains an advantage, and if not go back for the foul. the existing rules allow for this.
