It was a stronger team than expected. Matthews Innis Purrington Maatsen Williams Foster-Caskey Aneke and Washington all feature regularly for the first team. And we were noticeably better when Maddison was replaced by Vennings. We're a crap cup side whatever team goes out. Curbs used to play his strongest team and we were still crap. I thought Plymouth were far more comfortable winners than 0-1 suggests, good luck in the next round.
I think Lee Bowyer is giving the players an excuse to not be bothered,by his comments regarding Cup competitions. Saying things like we are not going to be winning it. I thought the first team players didn’t look interested. The U23 players like Barker, Vennings looked like they were trying hard.
Why cant we have the Sunday MOTD pundits on both days...Lineker is getting too much like a headmaster, it's all a bit weird.
Why can't we have MOTD without Gary Lineker involved at all. There are many others out there who could do a better job.
