Full time 1-1. Disappointing after our midweek heroics. We made a great start but never built on it and it sounded like Birmingham deserved their point. Look forward to hearing from those who were there.
Pissed off with two things; The result And I cashed out on betfair just before Birmingham scored for £30 profit and after they said "you have successfully cashed out", learning at full time it didn't go through! Still unbeaten - but a flat performance. Only positive for me was vetokele scoring and me breaking even (unless betfair confirm their error)
dismal performance. we went 1-0 up and sat back. we just went flat - would have almost preferred that we didnt score till the 60th minute as we'd have carried on playing like we did at the start. buyens worst game so far. mucked up a few times and we're lucky we were only playing brum as someone else would have scored. only positives today is still being unbeaten and jordan cousins being ok after going down heavily.
Piss poor today but still got a point so I'm pretty pleased Bikey a beast as ever Solly was SOLLY Vetokele scored decent goal from a great move the rest below or and forgettable
Flat performance. Too negative in possession, and far too many of our attacking players off form. I really don't rate Moussa, Tucadean or Bulot (the worst of the lot), and Buyens has shrivelled in the last few games. Mid table beckons, but still an improvement on recent seasons.
Nice goal. Great stuff from Bikey and Solly. Their number 24 was impressive. Mostly bollocks, though.
Bikey and Solly class, Igor did his bit, Morro seemed ok seeing he's not played this year, and Wiggins did alright, rest of the team pretty poor, Buyens and bulot had mares today, were so so bad. Even Wilson who gives 100% every game seemed off today Donaldson is a clown for his touch for the disallowed goal. Yes still unbeaten but a lot of improvements needed.
Same as previous games we score then defend and get pegged back. We have reached a stage where we can't go any further, we seem to be stuck in a rut. To get us to turn the regular draws into wins we need reinforcements and we need them now. Vetokele can't do it all himself upfront, he desperately needs a partner who can hold the ball up. In central midfield we need a box to box midfielder. There are a number of players who are not good enough, Tucudean, Bulot, I am also not convinced by Moussa.
If you watch the FLS highlights you can see that Donaldson was actually onside. He was level with Henderson and Morrison to the right of the goal was behind him. That said, I can see why the linesman gave it as you would naturally assume a player standing on the line was offisde. But it's another piece of luck for us this season.
I certainly think we've had a fair amount of luck so far this season. I thought we'd used it all up at Huddersfield with that blatant penalty not given, but it's lasted.
If you go to 28:12 minutes in to the FLS you can see Morro is on the pitch (Sorry, I can't upload a pic).
The referee was convinced it was offside and there didn't appear to be that much objection from the Birmingham players either. If it wasn't offside then it was probably the one bit of luck that we had in the game, but other decisions, mainly relating to Birmingham fore arms into the backs of our players, didn't go our way. Whereas, the slightest touch from lightweight Bulot brought the ref's whistle to his mouth and a much bigger and stronger Birmingham city player rolling around in dramatic displays of agony. Yes we have had some luck but equally haven't had any where near everything that could have or should have gone our way.
