Like to avoid you if possible, 18+5 - the sight of Jonjo fulfilling his potential with another side is painful enough without him actually playing against us... Worst piece of business we're ever going to do.
I thought Sullivan just about earned motm status, but you're right about solly and morrison... wasn't massively impressed with cort, mainly due to that dodgy back-pass. Oh, and great form from people who weren't even there to criticise the attendance.
Just back home now. Carlisle dominated the first half, and must have felt that they deserved to be ahead at the break. However, the team talk had the desired effect and the second half was all Charlton. For me, Morrisson was MOTM, but Sullivan and Solly are both good shouts. Pritchard looked good in the second half, and picked out some great passes. Cort looked solid in the middle, not perfect, but a decent replacement for Taylor/Morrisson if either were injured. Evina impressed me more today than he did at Halifax. Not in any rush to return to the East Stand.
The first half was dreadful and looked abit like a training match but it picked up in the second half and turned into a decent game of football between two passing teams. The carlisle no 25 was immense. Cort got better as the game wnt on and overall was pretty decent.Solly put in a typical solly performance and is a traditional charlton player love the bloke. Evina did ok in fits and starts Pritchard impressed me the most to be honest. The lack of atmosphere really affected the players though it picke up 2nd half. I was in the second from front row in the lower north and hated it there....if they are only going to open sections of the ground surely te north upper should be one of those that is opened.
What a strike from Joe - actually three superb strikes already. Easy to speculate how he might have fared here in the new set-up but he never really was part of the plan.
That's Michalik. Quality player but a couple of injuries stopped his progress at Leeds. Still only 28, thought he was older. The radio commentators were praising their right-back Ribeiro and striker Miller. Two positions we are short of quality cover. Did they stand out for you, Mike?
