Told you. Seriously though, this undermines further the integrity of the competition. In doing this the EFL have acknowledged that he is biased. Their processes allowed him to officiate and the outcome was determined by a journalist raising an issue and then a powerful club in the division complaining. I've spoken before about the integrity of the officiating in this league, it is an absolute farce.
