Yes, I absolutely take your point. The fact that Joe is still haunted by his poor display against Millwall makes you doubt his mental toughness, something which stands out a mile in Poyet. However I think the senior players have a responsibility to encourage youngsters who are having a tough time like this, it's the same in other industries, it means a lot and there was no sign of this sort of leadership. Maybe it did happen behind the scenes and I am wrong.
