You was not saying that a few years ago Warky, lol!! Most important thing today, Dids scoring, now watch the goals fly in!!
Honestly cant see anyone stopping us now. Interesting to hear what Mick Mills had to say about the team, best defence, best attack but midfield is the only weak spot, i totally agree, we are not able to boss teams in midfield and that could be our achilles heal, i think we need just a tad more quality in midfield, other than that, we look super!!

The bad spells make the good spells even sweeter.

Fantastic night for the blue boys, we didn't play well, but we never really looked in any trouble.

Its not usual that I agree with Mick Mills, but we just need a little bit more depth in quality in the midfield, and probably another striker just in case something happens to Murph or Didsy.

    Great times ahead boys.

<applause><applause> Absolutely delighted we nailed this one - difficult slip-up game and we banged in 3...especially for Didsy...hoorah and not bothered that we werent brilliant all the time. How can we be? Putting the points on the board, even when not playing that well, is what its all about. Match report anyone please?!

We have all said we need another strong, experienced, goal-scoring midfielder..am sure MM and co know this in their hearts.

But, if we turn the screws on Derby at home in a weeks time, we could just start showing clear blue water between us and 3rd.

I will be coming up for that one!

Dids' reaction to scoring his late goal was tremendous.

    He's back!

What a great result! We could lose the next three and still be top six and above Nardge. Happy New Year indeed!!!

Didsy stole the show last night, could have had a hat full of goals, hit the frame of the goal 3 times, missed a couple of one on ones, took his goal really well.
at the back Berra is as good a CB as I have seen down here for 5-6 seasons, he was immense again last night, Town did not play that well last night and at times we got a little bit exposed at the back but Berra was on hand a number of times to snuff out any danger.

As for the window we need to hang on to all our players that are currently involved in the 1st team squad, that includes Ty at almost any price, if he goes that leaves us very short of quality cover at the back, further forward I would also like to see some sort of addition to our midfield, we lacked a bit of trickery in there last night, Teddy did not have the best of games, hopefully Hyam is close to a return to share some of the workload in there, as for up front while both Didsy & Mrphy are fit we are fine but if one of them gets any sort of injury we could hit a wall, shame we could not get a deal sorted out with N Hunt as we do need an option up top.
