I think Luzon is proving to be a good coach, he seems to know what he wants. He is not afraid to discipline the players as he did with Watt. For a bunch of strangers the team played with a collective togetherness most noted by the way the midfield of Cousins, Ba and Kashi hunted down their midfield as a unit.
You can tell we played well yesterday by the absence of Royston.

Agreed, we're certainly going to come up against stronger opposition than we played on Saturday and will need to play well from the start.

    naughty, dick <cheers>

Just logged on to enjoy your latest Damascean Conversion. You do like to have a gentle dig at times, but please don't flounce off like Nellie Melba in a burning frock when you get some back.

I thought Karzi (I think I spelt that right?) was tidy yesterday but I find it very hard to get motivated by the foreign lads knowing the fate that awaits them "if" they do well.

I didn't say I was converted, just that I thought they played well. What is the fate that awaits them if they play well?

That is the same with any player, if they get noticed by bigger Clubs they will go.

Talking through your arse you muppet, what proof have you got that he is super unpopular at Charlton? Just because one or two knob heads on here say so?

Reams, can't you respond to anything you disagree with without resorting to insults?

'Talking through your arse you muppet'.

I can't see anything in the post you are replying to to justify that.

    Ken,

When Paul had a pop at PEA (a few weeks ago) he thought he was responding to me and now he responds to Oz's post when he was popping at Nick, the problem is that cheap cider is available 24/7 from Tesco and that Paul does not know when to stop drinking the stuff!

Also, I don't just come out with random statements without any shred of evidence. The unpopularity comes from the following:
This article from the Jewish Chronicle: http://www.thejc.com/sport/sport-news/129621/an-hour-isn’t-enough-judge-luzon
"Luzon’s unpopularity with fans is something he shares with the only other Israeli to manage in England – Avram Grant. It is tempting to feel that anti-Israel sentiment is at play, except both men were often unpopular in Israel itself."

If I wanted to make a generic sweeping statement without any form of intellectual thought, I'd just hurl random insults!

Can the insults stop from all sides? It's very hard to point blame when the same posts are popping up on different threads from different members at the same time.

If you want to take pops at each other you have a private message function which works perfectly for that. Otherwise keep the debate clean and fun. We've always tried to maintain a freedom of speech approach on here, but if we feel it's then being abused then things will change.

    Super

at Luzon's first game (you would know if you came) he got about 1 clap when his name was read out. I think the mascots got more of an applause, so it's not so much a case of one or two on here, but an entire stadium at the match. then, further to this, all forums, charlton based, were filled with comments akin to "WTF?" "who is he?", and why was he chosen above curbs when he made himself available to us.

cafc_fan was correct, he generally isnt that popular, but is winning people over with his record.

Did you know the majority of puppets are left-handed? It's true. Most puppeteers operate the head of the puppet with their right hand, thus leaving the puppet's left arm to be operated accordingly. Interesting, eh?

THat explains the "sinister" aspect of what is happening at Charlton. Roland's puppet operating "the way of the left hand", as Denis Wheatley would have observed.

Is puppet the left footed player we're in need of?

Are you thick? You don't have a clue about football do you. The majority of Charlton fans are more than happy with Luzon and that pathetic list you have compiled out of utter desperation reads like you broke off from your home work to do it. Most of the crap on it is from over 6 months old, most other people have moved on.

Luzon got stick at Liege because RD sold all his best players and he was doomed to failure, the season before he got them into the Champions League play-offs you melt.

Christ you really are as thick as ****, "We want our Charlton back" How old are you?. What Charlton is that? The one under Jiminez and Slater.

I take it you don't watch us anymore out of protest?
