Like the comment LiE. About time Brown received some decent publicity. Just shows we've now got proper competiton across the team.

 

Awful cynical Leeds today keeper booked for time wasting in first half brown spent a lot of time rolling around injured which inspired his team mates to do the same.
Well done Mcormack and kenny made to world class saves BUT leaves a sour taste a performance like that.

To be fair Mike your friends next door showed us how to time waste,where the ball boys don't even get the ball for the other team if they are winning.Its become part and parcel of the game and you have to learn to deal with it as we have.Makes a nice change us being the ones leaving without the sour taste.

 

Time wasting wasn't the problem, it was four goals conceded, but I'm sure Powell understands this and will work to fix it.

 

Fair enough and you won if we won I'd be happy with that so fair enough.
A win is a win but despite us losing can't say I was impressed Forest Leicester both way better than the Leeds team I saw yesterday.

 

To be fair it wasn't going to be a slick passing display yesterday, not on that bog of a pitch, with the ball sticking in puddles.

 

Apparently our performance was a bit cynical and wasn't the best, but the result was good and we took our chances. Decent way to go into the break and come back with what *should* be 3 points against the perennial bottlers of Middlesbrough

 

Funny that as we took 3 times as many points home as they did put together.Go ask there fans,if they would prefer to win ugly or lose by playing football to please the Charlton fans.You play to win,not to lose,well.We came,we entertained with a 6 goal match,and we took home the points.makes us the best you've seen in my book,didn't please you guys but that was never our intention.

 

It was clear after 30 seconds when a backpass got stuck in the mud and water that we weren't going to see a sily smooth passig game. But we did what we had to and more than deserved the win. As some woman once said, "just rejoice in that".

 

It's your own clubs fault for having such a **** pitch, second time this season that this has been a problem. You're in the Championship for crying out loud
