We do need to strengthen this window and I think we will, but we are only one point away from automatic promotion so I'm happy with how we're doing. It seems Maja will need replacing but it's not an impossible task and Wyke's doing well he's just got a lot of rust to shake off ditto Watmore.

We might not be winning every game but we're a hell of a tough side to beat and with a couple of improvements to the side I'm sure we'll be up there in first or second.

I wouldn't want us to force, Maja, to stay. If his heart isn't in it with us anymore then we should be cashing in on him.

As has been our achilles heel for a long time and you have already touched on it, we are short of an attacking mid that can control the game and make things happen. I feel if we had the quick attacking players that suits the system, JR, seems to be wanting to play then that would take away the need for a hold up striker. Not in anyway comparing us to City or Liverpool, but they get it down and play quick attacking football. They have Aguero and Firminho, they're recognised as clinical strikers more than hold up strikers.

Norman hunter, Billy bremner, Graham souness they would not last 5 mins on a pitch with these soft refs we have today and the crappy pitches back then.

Matter of time before he starts to play like a wantaway and the fans get on his back. Or Jack drops him and plays Dunc instead...

Exactly, offered him his terms and he still won't sign. Can't force the kid can we?

I think maybe, the whole agent spiel is to keep fans onside so he can play the rest of the season then leave for free. I could be wrong though

Firminho was a hold up striker but his development has been phenomenal, what a player he's turned into. Can play the false 9 the lot now. What a weapon

    And your point is ?

Mine was simply that Maja hasn't asked to leave and Ross hasn't been asked to sell.
    ...

Imo, its a lot of postering and (attempts) at Strong arming going on.

If maja continues to turn up and put a shift in, I'm going to ignore the rest until there is a conclusion one way or another. because there is no way to know what is going on right now, no side is going to be 100 transparent.

No point mate, just thought you got names mixed up as it was irrelevant to my point and you quoted me. No harm no foul

Lad doesn't need to ask to leave if he wants to walk at the end of the season and pick his club rather than be flogged to highest bidder[emoji106]
