Tudgay tees up Jackson but he can't get the right angle and his shot goes wide.

Hospital pass back to Thuram from Dervite who loses it to Maiga, who can only put it out for a goal kick. Big let-off.

We have looked a lot better going forward since the subs, just no end product

The ball falls to Ravel Morrison in the box, but he can't get enough contact on it and Thuram gratefully seizes it.

    4 minutes' added time.

Ahhh man! That feels so good after a month and a half of nothing. Sounded like we matched them most of the way (apart from possession) and got the goal crucially at the death a la Wigan. Good thing too as the other results were going badly awry!
    Happy days.

Those subs changed the game. We looked a real threat going forward, which is a bit of a shock to the system. Very gritty, fighting performance in my view. Very big 3 points right there, this feeling good at full time lark seemed like a long lost memory! Chuffed :)

The best I've seen us play in many a year.

Still worried about Thuram, fancy giving the ball away to the QPR guy, couldn't see who it was but how did he manage to run it out after passing Thuram.

Lucky he didn't have much to do or we'd have lost that one as well. I don't like Hamer but he'a a much better bet. Bring back Ben.

Absolutely delighted with that.my first gamesince Brighton, maybe I should come more often. Anyway, great game, qpr neverlooked like winning it. Rob Green still showed he is a top keeper, Jacko no legs but as isaid before and will keep saying, he scores when you need it. Wilson special mention, my fave player but was so good today at rb went forward well and defended very well. Poyet is special, really is, was everywhere and we have a star, MOTM

Absolutely buzzing!!! Made my pre match comments look stupid, but happy to be proven wrong!!

We need to play like that more often. Tugay looked upper championship class - which was very pleasing to see.

what a great game! my 2 month old's first match - i wont forget that in a hurry.

poyet looked class again, thuram is a accident waiting to happen, but all in all, a good solid performance. tactics spot on - snatch and grab.

Sir Chris' best game. All 3 subs strengthened the team, and we fully deserved the 3 points. Tugay added a bit of physical presence up front, which we need. When Cousins moved to the right Poyet seemed to raise his game, even more so after Harriott came on. Cousins at RB and Wilson at RM might be a good option, Cousins has played in that position a lot, and Poyet and Astrid looks a good combination. And after we scored we didn't panic and saw the game out quite comfortably. After his howler Thuram redeemed himself with a superb save when I thought they had scored. So, only positives from today's game. Even the ref had a good game, I was particularly impressed by the way he refused to stop play when one of their players feigned injury when we were in a threatening position.

I don't see the subs made a difference.
Today about two teams absolute petrified of losing, QPR has their chances, we had ours, i thought we did well but still look like we have no real cutting edge, supposed to see what a bad keeper Green is.
