Thanks Wooperts!!! I said a few months ago that it would take Pompey time to settle into this division. We need to keep winning in order to drag the Top 6 back to the rest, and drag the rest of the division with us. I feel that Blackburn and Wigan are the two strongest teams and will get the automatic places. I do think as the season wears on, Shrewsbury and Scunthorpe will be reeled in by clubs with bigger squads. Play-off teams - Bradford, Charlton, Pompey and one other.
I was concerned in particular with the absence Naismith and Close who appear to have contributed significantly to the recent improvement in results. Seems I need not of worried. Not only did they get the result but from all account they deserved it. Many thanks for the commentary again Woopert.
Yep ! We sold 3,870 tickets officially for the away section, but additional tickets in the home end were bought by a number of London based fans. Circa. 4,000 in total. And, listening to Express FM, they totally outsang the 12,000 home fans.
