Tomlin and Bogle on for Hoilett and guess who? Rhymes with Maxine. And he's no longer interested.

    Tomlin. 2.2

    Perhaps the cat wasn't dead.

Taken a point but it shows how badly we need Tomlin on the pitch from the start, a striker who can control the ball, and a quick holding midfielder.

Expect to see several changes on Tuesday.

Ps As for Hoiletts spot kick (not a pen) what a joke. Why did he take it?

Could have been a lot worse.

    23 attempts, 8 on target.
On the way to the required 35.

If we can get pretzel and tomlin on the pitch together we might get a few more.

True but Hoilett missed his last one as did Madine - same match. <doh>

Surely we have someone else capable of completing such a simple task?

Madine unlucky, could have scored five, best striker since Gavin Gordon! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Mendez took the one at Man U last game last season and smashed it home. Power is the way to go because even if the keeper guesses right, it's past him as he moves.

Hoilett tried to roll it in the corner, and when you do that with no pace the keeper can get lucky if he picks the right way to go - and he did. <doh>

Or Warren Feeney, Niasse or Eddie Johnson, who scored twice for us and once for the opposition.

I understand the keeper could have got on all fours, crawled and saved it. <doh>

ML or Pack should have taken it. There was no confidence in Hoilett when he was over the ball. He should never take one again.

A game we should have won. Defence just isnt very good. Flint looks a terrible signing.

Ward is probably our best striker but I think is out Tuesday.

Id stick with Madine hes better than Glatzel and dont think Bogle did enough when he came on.

Tomlin for Patterson. Ralls for Bacuna if he is fit. Id also play Murphy for NML an Morrison for Flint.

Largely with you hilts, though I'd like to see glatzel given a chance in a team trying to play football.

Same here. At least Glatzel, when fit, can find the back of the net. Something Madine hasn't done in 22, I think, appearances for us. This despite him being a big lump where hoof ball should suit him.

According to WoL NML was our star man yesterday. Whether or not that is true, he has put in more of a shift lately and scored yesterday.

Agreed with Hilts on Tomlin, Ralls and Morrison. Flint looks a poor signing and Paterson is not the player he was.
