1 - 0 Down at half time, according to Twitter we've had some good chances and maybe unlucky to be behind. Just a thought, who is going to win player of the year this season? We sold arguably our 3 best performers in January, can they still win it? If not probably has to be Cousins.

Someone explain to me why when we're chasing the game we bring on Church?

I'd have rather my son's class bear played instead of Sodall. He is absolutely f*****g useless...!!

So Church on for him was just fine by me (I'd have rather started with him instead of Sodall).

I missed the first 30 minutes due to engineering works, but it was a pretty depressing game to watch. We played some nice football up to the penalty area, but then didn't have a clue. Poyet was his usual outstanding self, everything came from him and no doubt he'll be sold when we go down. Cousins played in an advanced midfield role for some reason, previously he's played in all the back 4 positions or def. mid, so why Sir Chris pushed him forward and had Jacko in the DM position I can only think it was to cover for the hapless Evina. Of the new players Thuram looked OK, Adjeravic looks a decent player and Goochy ineffective. Polish Pete only had 5 minutes and Sordell was his usual self. I just couldn't at any point see us scoring, and can't wait to see the U-18's on tuesday.

Stephens would have been in with a shout, but now it has to be between Cousins, Wilson and Wiggins.

Having said that, if one of the new players such as Reza or Peter Potato-Sack save us from the drop, they may be in with a chance of scooping the award.

HA HA HA... Darren the bear has had quite a weekend in the Franco house. We got a nice photo of him and my boy at The Valley today. That'll be going in his diary. Now my boy wants me to take him to Paris with me tomorrow so I can get another pic of him at the rugby... I might have to accidentally on purpose forget to pick old Darren up in the morning.

Great shout re Wilson for POTY. He really has improved immeasurably this season. My missus said she liked the look of him, but now I think of it I'm not sure it was for his footballing ability.

Just got back from a really nice day at Covadonga, in the Picos de Europa, and I find out the score :(

From the other thread it sounds like we played OK. But we need results.

Did Cousins really start on the right? I can't understand why Powell would do that.

He played well out on the right Captain. Don't get me wrong I'd prefer to see him in the middle of the park though.

I can only assume Powell don't fancy Nego after his horror show last week and Danny Green has never and will never be a success in a Charlton shirt.

:emoticon-0136-giggl Yeah, he does have the swarthy appearance of a 1980s Italian libero - the git!

Have a good trip to Paris, pal. And don't forget Darren, eh?
