Wonderful work Pup, I thoroughly enjoyed that...!! The Hollands diving header, Dale’s thunderbolt and JJ's two free kicks in as many games... were all an absolute joy to behold. However, for me Morrison's volley against Stevenage was the cream of the crop. It is without any shadow of a doubt one of my all time favorite Charlton goals. From a fella fast becoming one of my all time favorite Charlton players. Watching all the goals back brings into focus just how truly great a finisher BWP is. Anyone doubting his ability to step up and do the business in the Champonship, need only watch your little creation to realise they’re wrong .
I know how you feel Franco, I was watching that and let out an excited/proud little smile after practically every second or third goal. We've seen them all this season - 20 yard thunderbolts, overhead kicks, free-kicks, diving headers, volleys, half volleys, nutmegs, cross-cum-shots* and tap-ins. I'd struggle to vote for my goal of the season so far, I reckon it would probably go to Dale Stephens (the one against Bury) or Dany N'Guessans debut goal (incidentally how comes this was missing from the video?). Was it just me that felt Morrisons goal against Stevenage seemed to be a bit of a mis-hit? Not criticising it, brilliant goal, but it always seemed to me that it rolled down his leg a bit. *stop giggling
