I’d rather hitch hike than get on a coach, but a subsidised deal would appeal to fans who like a pound note. BTW...morning @ForestHillBilly
Morning, ACS. Just booked my hotel for the Forest game on the 11th. Won't be doing Udders though. He's finished uni. Works in Nottingham now, by coincidence. Job interview was in London, got allocated to the Nottingham branch, which was handy.
It does not stop me from using them occasionally. My meagre income dictates at times. Have you valeted that rust bucket of yours yet btw?
Missus gave me a few tasks to undertake today, one is valet the car £14 another is go to Waitrose. After my breakfast I’ll have a smoke & then go to the bookies.
As Mrs Elfs is still in Brasil for another 6 weeks I can crack on and sit on my bottom doing nothing. Give me £15 and I'll do the rust bucket, I'll need you to supply overalls though.
Back to respecting the thread. I cannot see us bringing anybody(decent) in fit for the game on Wednesday.
@DickPlumb what would you say are the priorities now in terms of urgency in this transfer window ? I would say (in order) 1. CM. Replace Gallagher. Over run yesterday in midfield at Preston. 2. proven strike partner for Taylor 3. proven CB partner for Lockyer. 4. a left back All 4 are required by the end of January.
I think the defence has become a priority. We need a solid aggressive centre half next to Lockyer. The second priority is a centre forward then a midfielder. As Doughty is playing well the left back position becomes less of a priority. Maybe Page will get fit and play the rest of the season. Sorry, what am I thinking.
our released list at the end of the season is going to resembler our injury list for the season. naby, page, jfc, taylor, solly(?), williams(?), otzumer(?), the remaining brighton fella, amos. anyone else?
