I can understand that, I have been a bit cynical myself in thinking that MC has had to try and get fans back onside with promises etc after the very bad start he made. Saying that, he has paid off A LOT of debt in a short period of time and as far as i'm aware it's been HIS money that he's done it with. I'm no financial expert so I don't know if certain things can be manipulated in the books for due diligence etc. It probably can. Plus we have to remember that LUFC as a company is haemorrhaging money at an alarming rate, yet GFH paid themselves a good chunk of cash for the right of being the owners.

I don't think our past decade of abused Trust and loyalty has helped in letting us supporters give the benefit of doubt to any new owner so we will just have to be sceptical, patient and hopeful all in one. Only time will tell I suppose as to where MC takes us and how much real ambition he has for us. What I keep telling myself is that he is different to previous owners and actually knows and loves football, so I think there can be hope.

If I'm being honest, I wouldn't say we're in the same position as when bates was in charge. Some things are better, some are worse, but to judge MC now is a little unfair and won't give us a full picture.

You're right in that we are NOWHERE near challenging and it does pain me to realise that, it isn't good enough. What we have to remember is that nobody can just come in and change that overnight, not without stupid investment which is unsustainable.
