Yep time for poulter and jet to step up. If we can't cope without Austin we don't deserve to get anywhere. Let's hope our Xmas luck is in. On a separate note hope everyone has a fab Xmas regardless results.
FFS - at this rate he'll play (assuming he stays beyond January) in fewer than 50% of our 2015/16 fixtures Our substitute strikers, on the evidence so far, just aren't good enough and there just aren't enough goals in the rest of the team A pretty frustrating end to 2015 (though of course 3 wins against Ipswich / Huddersfield / Hull might just change my mind )
I would say he has gone But we look solid enough to put a run together All about timing now Slowly Slowly catchy Monkey
Being a simple soul I'm completely confused as to why he would state with so much certainty that he's staying until the end of the season. Why? That's assuming that he is indeed gone.
Let's hope we get a couple of strikers early January and make them better than the 3 Harry got a couple of years ago - too remind u Doyle, maiga and Keane !!!
We need strikers this Jan, but also need some one NOW to step and take over the scoring I suspect Our Jimmy has a surprise lined up for us and Huddersfield on Monday....but today he will play it cool, as against BCity
From the OP Sky article:- "QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has conceded Charlie Austin will not be part of his plans for the busy Christmas and New Year period. Austin injured his hamstring in training before the 1-1 draw with Bristol City and Hasselbaink said he would most likely be absent for at least their next three games. The 26-year-old missed a month of the 2015-16 season with a similar injury he suffered against Fulham at the end of September."
