    they haven't shrunk as much as pbew's brain, but as a young chaser with obvious potential he is going in a different direction to the french horse ridden by action man. As Kim Bailey said , he only beat an exposed 11 year old, but if he can improve HT's fencing, there is no reason not to think he could be a live gold cup contender --given favourable conditions.....long way to go mind...but he has passed his first test

    rudey, I think his odds would have been cut a lot more had Long Run put up a better performance. Its ironic but the form will be devalued because he didn't run his race. I did expect that (see above) and regardless of the excuses being trotted out about dirty scopes and the like I think Long Run's star is definitely waning! Your boy ran a nice race and it will be interesting to see where they go next!

    indeed stick-- they do need to get more 'experience' into the beast, and a sighter of prestbury park--as a young horse he has many years ahead, and this year may be a learning curve--
