Due to the actions of the last two dodgy conmen, he was a cunt until proven otherwise. He's up for a fight to defend us and has done more in the past month than Bain did in his whole time with us. 35k + season tickets are already sold so he's not doing it to sell tickets, this sh it is real. He doesn't have any passion for Rangers, once a profit can be made for his investors he'll be off and will take his cut which is fair enough. He is up for a fight though, and knows he has to be in order to get us into a position for his investors to profit.

There isn't one. Fair enough, he's the only show in town. But to get the doubters on, he aludes to it being Celtic that are behind the EBT investigation, he suggests Rangers are being persecuted by bigotry etc etc. Most people aren't getting behind him because there's no other option, they're doing it because it's now considered that he "speaks for us" and is "standing up for us" He's doing no such thing - he's recruiting customers. It doesn't matter how little actual logic is behind his statements, as long as he hits the right targets, folk are buying it.

All fans Iknow, including myself, were furious about that. The **** had months to put in a proposal but only came charging up hours after the Green deal had been concluded for no other reason that to cause a ****in ruccus as far as I'm concerned.

So he was the villain because people on phone ins, some football forum (im guessing FF) and in the papers said they didn't trust him. Those folk are well renown for being of sound mind. That's a villain to rival Darth Vader right there.
I remain suspicious of him. As others have said, who wouldn't be after our recent history. I also think he's been far too mouthy. The bigotry accusations did nobody any good and pandered to the bigots and the delusional. I don't see it as drumming up business, though. The season tickets were selling well anyways, and the turnouts have been temendous. Is timmy suggesting that every Rangers fan that has been to support their team is a delusional bigot who laps the sensationalist crap Green has said up? It seems so. Saw a statement from Green where he said that he'd bought the assets of Rangers including the history and the trophies. If that can be shown to be true then he does have a legal standpoint to challenge the commission if they decide to remove what he has bought.
