Lots of boringly cautious, sensible comment here about saving him for the play-offs. Probably wise though he needs to get match fit first, but ideally I'd like him to start tomorrow, score 3 by half time, take a rest for the 2nd half, while we go on to win 5-0, and Burnley and Derby lose by a hat-full.
Agreed, start him and give him 45 mins. He'll be under more pressure to prove himself coming on as a sub.
Superb news, just what we needed. Although we do need to be careful not to rush him back too quickly.
Give Charlie a run out for 15 mins, if nothing else it will lift the team and the voices of the faithful supporters.
I know Stan and DT and others don't like him but I don't know how you couldn't like an old Geezer like 'Arry. Its funny towards the end of this interview when he's talking about his time at Bournemouth http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26892018
Fantastic news! As others have said though, we mustn't rush him back too soon. It's unlikely that his shoulder will be a problem as I'm sure the operation has fixed that. It's the rest of his body that we need to be just as careful with. When a player's been out for quite a while, he is very likely to go and ping a hamstring or something if he isn't treated with the utmost care!
At our club any player is likely to ping a hamstring at any time. Fitness and conditioning has, apparently, nothing to do with it.
"This content is not currently available for your device" The ****ers ****ed my ****ing iPad as well!
Great news he's ready, but is this rushing him back too soon? I'd rather he had a couple more weeks to be properly over it. If he gets crocked tomorrow it would be scandalous...
Hopefully he can start the match on the bench and only come on in the 80th minute to start a slow re-acclimatisation to first team football. He is far too important to risk too quickly. I'd love to see Petrasso start though......
I see Leicester have done Weds 2 - 1 tonight. A job well done. I'd like to see us win tomorrow and Burnley get pasted at tWatford. Would shift some pressure onto Burnley
Thank god we never became a one man team and relied on a single man to get all our goals and promotion ......!! Welcome Back CA We need you even more than ever Others had the chance to step up to the plate and (in essence) have failed.......
