Charlie Austin to Newcastle, Sky Sports reported that Sky bet has cancelled all betting on CA to Newcastle after his odds had dropped to 1/10 - hope this is true...
 
Was getting excited by the idea of Mitrovic coming but would be well happy with Austin. Let's get both!
 
This would be a very exciting signing if it happens, as much for the confirmation of a change in approach that it would signal - signing Premier League proven English quality at the expected premium - as for the ability of the player.

If we are looking to play predominantly 4-2-3-1 next season then I would very much like to see us add one more creative, attacking forward to play behind him (preferably someone effective if asked to play out on the left), to compliment our current selection of Siem, Wijnaldum, Cabella, Sissoko, Perez. Probably why we are so interested in Thauvin.

Just as things look as though they have gone through why did Colin have to open his big mouth. And I did want Steve Austin to join us. He always was one of my favourites on WWF. Wonder if we will go for Kurt Angle now instead.
 
I would be very happy with this, providing we keep everyone else, or if we do sell cisse, replace him. I we sold ayoze i would cry.
