Haven't Spurs just spent £22 million on a South Korean striker? And Spurs need a striker.

I'd be immensely underwhelmed as a Utd fan. What to you think?@RobertQPRST: Reliably informed that Charlie Austin will undergo his Man Utd medical tonight. Fee around £15 million + add ons. I wish him all the best.

If true, I hope we are spending £5-10m on a replacement.
No matter how much we intend to spend on a replacement, which I would expect to be no more than 2.5 million, we are leaving ourselves woefully short of time to push a deal through before 18:00 on Tuesday. Unless of course a replacement is already lined up.I'd be immensely underwhelmed as a Utd fan. What to you think?

That's the key part. This has all come from a Twitter account which is clearly a fake, it was in French until today and now suddenly it's apparently the head of qpr supporters trust, complete load of bollox!! What it has highlighted is that A. It's easy to wind up a lot of people on line.
and
B. Charlie is currently on the lash at Reading festival, can't see him doing a medical anywhere tomorrow!!
You and me both, I really can't see that Charlie is any better than what they already haveThat's the key part. Although I will believe a move to Utd when I see it.
If true, good luck Charlie. Also, can Utd let us have someone (or two) as a p/x, a defender and striker would be nice - and no hopeless cast offs (Ferdinand and Machado come to mind).
