Looks like spurs are signing this South Korean forward. I doubt they will still want Berinho and I can't see them going for Austin.
Hope you're right Stan. I would like to see them both playing together from the start of a match. Porter could be the new OBZ for Charlie.
£22m squid for a South Korean striker when they could have Charlie who is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League for £15m.
Agreed. I think that if that is right and West Brom do come knocking on the door just before the window closes, they can be told that the price will go up by £2 million for every hour they delay. £25 million for Berahinho is a joke. This all comes about from the fact that we are seen as mugs in the transfer market game. The price goes up when we knock on the door but when we want to move players on, apparently we must be having a laugh if we think that any of our players are any good or can last 42 games. I am staggered that suddenly Prem. clubs are prepared to pay £22 million for some South Korean that nobody has even heard of before. How on earth did anybody keep that gem secret? I smell the hand of Kia. He probably owns the guy.
Agree that Austin's price should move. After Saturdays game CR should announce that unless a bid is accepted by Monday then the price is increased to £18m because of its impact on our replacing him. Then Tuesday it's £20m Oh and the Korean is good on Fifa. Maybe that's were Levy does his scouting
BBC five live reporting that West Brom have now ruled out selling Berahinho...so may be Spurs will look at Charlie again
Yeah but he's the man who the camera's will be on after the game. Board can give him the message to communicate Would also make any acceptances subject to us signing a replacement
Agree I would put the price up ready as the sharks are closing in If Austin stays then he could well be worth 20 m in January as some teams in the premier league look set to be in trouble or will under perform Could be West Ham looks like Sunderland will struggle and then any from 10 other teams could come in for Austin then I say again not sure he is any where near the finished article and you have to ask why no one has matched the current figure?
If I was Ferdinand, on September 2nd, i'd give him a nice big pay rise an 12 month contract extension and a £10m (or £12m if we can get away with it) release clause. Someone will pay that in Jan or June. But either way it's a win win for us and him
