<laugh> I think Adam will be put on free kick and Corner duty, but I still fancy Kuyt to take the penalties.

I don't know where exactly Kenny is thinking of putting him though, LM or Deep playmaker seems the obvious places to put him.

    Will he start?

What does this mean for Meireles and Aqua? Meireles may be on his way out and Aqua is hardly on solid ground. I'd like to see both stay, especially Aqua - he could do well in the deep role with Lucas against smaller teams, or play the advanced role easily, classy player.

Charlie Adam has been given the number 26 shirt at Anfield. Jay Spearing will now have the number 20 shirt whilst Jordan Henderson will wear the number 14 shirt.

This has really puzzled me over the last couple of years, surely we have a better corner taker than stevie, as you say its not like he would be useless on the edge of the box.

If we play 4-3-3 We should use Adam, Gerrard and Lucas in our midfield. Some good depth of deep lying creativity, attacking creativity and Lucas can play the holding/anchor man role

I suppose it has something to do with him feeling he has to take responsibility- captain and all that.
He's never really got the hang of it though.

If we're playing a 4-3-3 with Hendo,Gerrard and Lucas, does that mean that Kuyt plays on the right of an attacking 3,Suarez on the left and Carroll through the middle?Or is it Adam,Gerrard and Henderson in midfield. in midfield.

Surely it's upto the manager to then say you are ****e at corners lets somebody else take them.

You'd think so wouldn't you? I don't pretend to know why Stevie always takes them but there's got to be someone who can get 'em over the head of the first defender.

Like I said I'd prefer Adam, Gerrard and Lucas. Lucas is a great tackler who can stay around midfield and cover the defence when needed. Adam can go forward when the situation allows and come back and whip a ball to the wingers when the game gets tight. Meanwhile Gerrard gets the free role and can move forward. Combine this with KK's passing game and we should see some interesting attacking build ups.

Suarez on the left, Kuyt on the right and Carroll in the middle would scare the sh*te out of any Premier League defence. But I would suggest we sign at least two more strikers if we decide to play three upfront. We'll need strikers for the bench and cover for injuries and such. Connor Wickham would have been an almost perfect fit but I guess KK and Commoli had their reasons for not putting in a bid.
