Yep, the game was played in good spirits for the most part. Not sure if it's a coincidence that there was no dirty challenges now the Scousers have returned back home to whatever's still left in their houses.

 

Wasn't trying to be ironic. Was just making sure young Gareth didn't pick up another 'career threatening' injury, from a 'horror tackle' that could keep him out of the game for at least, oohh, I don't know, maybe four days?

Thank you. A bit of a petulant response though. Should expect it looking at Bales and AVBs response to Adams 'horror tackle' though, shouldn't I? Given Adam's history of previous, and having viewed the incident a few times, it was more than clumsy. He deliberately went out to nobble Bale, IMO. As I've said he's done it before, and unless something is done about him he'll do it again. He's a thug - end of.

Personally I think Bale should have shut his mouth, in contrast Ledley kept a career ending tackle (Delap) to himself till he retired! Its not very professional to blab off in public and has now made the first league game with Pool more than it is already.

 

He did keep schtum after the first one from Adam, though - I don't recall Harry going on the full Wenger about it afterwards, either.

You think he should shut up until Adam finishes his career? It's happened too often now, and any ref will not give Adam the benefit of any doubt if he tries it again. A smart move in my opinion.

 

Yes I do, thats why I wrote it, what happens on the pitch should be sorted in the dressing room, its girly, whingy, rather embarrassing, and not very manly to do otherwise. I don't give a **** who else Adam puts up in the air, he'll get his, from other harder players or the authorites. Crying in public is not on.
