As a seasonal gesture shall we accept that Mr Buckle is having a bit of a nightmare? He has been given all of his presents and doesn't seem to be able to play terribly well with them?
Is he to be given time to save the day and restore our Club to it former status? If so, would we not be wise to appoint a sage in the mould of LL to hold his hand and save us from further misery. Note the success when LL was at the Mem and the change in the Eagles fortunes when he arrived at the Palace.

sadly we shall need any surplus to replace the £1.6 million allegedly being spent on 5 of our players by premier and champ. league clubs

We have reached a real crisis over the Gas position. One of the most expensive costs to any club is the termination payment to a sacked manager. IMO it would be a better option to appoint an older head in overall charge to get things back under control and Mr Buckle be kept under a tighter rein. Lets be realistic; all the bookies got this one wrong as well as the Gas Board. Almost every bookie had the Gas up for promotion this season at the top of their lists. There was also a lot of optimism sallying around this board and the media. Good Luck to SC in America!!
