Sorry mate ~ I don't condone violence in any shape or form, but Newcastle stayed there all game. I went with my red and white mate and his Grandad and remember the match vividly. Jimmy Smith scored for us, don't know who scored for you. Saying that, I remember reading about fights between ourselves from the 1900's.
I was also at that game with my dad and watched the goings on from the safety of the Roker End, and you could all the trouble with the Mags getting slowly but surely pushed out and getting escorted round the pitch. if there were any left in there for the second half it was not noticable when the two goals went in for what was a 1-1 draw. However, My point stands that this game was probably the first case of organised hooliganism in English football, and marked the change in the relationship with our two sets of fans.
It has always gone on but at some point women and kids became a target. By all sides I hasten to add. Thats just sick, some kids today just have no idea at where to draw the line.
Ahhh! So the reason why you're such a bitter person finally comes to light. It's due to traumatic childhood events from many moons ago. I think you should go and get some psychiatric help if it's still turning you into such a twisted miserable bastard.
This 100%. Changed my view of the craas totally that day as a 23 year old. I have no respect for them, or desire to see them prosper in any shape or form.
