Hmm.. now it's a head ache for nigel.. In all honesty looking at January transfers..Why did we bring in Falca?

I agree, doesn't seem any room in the squad for him. I don't think they would have signed him if they had known Punch was going to rejoin the squad. Now Punch is back, Falca seems surplus to requirements. Shame as he didn't really get much of a chance but in our position I don't think we should be gambling on unknown players, we need all the points we can get so must stick with players we know can produce.

Falque is a squad player, perhaps his ball retention skills are good and maybe it was intended that he would be back up for Chaplow. I suspect all the players settling in or returning from injury will play tomorrow: Lee, Falque, Chaplow, De Ridder perhaps Barnard and Jaidi too!

Falque is cup-tied unfortunately

If I followed things previously Falque was sent here to complete his development rather than be a first pick squad player?

Good news

Chaplow has been a fantastic impact sub this season. So if he can get a good hour under his belt tomorrow then he should be available on Saturday for a place on the bench. Then we would have a midfielder who can genuinely make a difference going forward. As Hammond is only useful for helping to see a game out.
