Well I know two people that have seen him out on different nights getting smashed in the past week. Doesn't look good when he was ment to be getting back into training.
Sounds like we had some kind of deal where we paid in instalments. Molde have probably just waived the remaining instalments, rather than paid us money back. We made a small loss in the scheme of things and they have their player back. Not unusual for a player not to settle...what is unusual is that he didn't get any game time.
MP had nothing to do with the signing, so the mistake wasn't his. He didn't rate Tadanari either (not that Nigel did much). I think Mauricio is a bit of a silent assassin.
We can't assume that he has a permanent drink problem. Charitably, he has had an awful time...couldn't settle, out of his depth, unwanted...let's hope it goes better for him back at Molde.
It's such an odd one. I'd say we've handled a difficult situation quite well, but the fact is it was a situation of our own making. I think Adkins spoke once about the huge amount of research that the club puts into scouting players. Looking into their personalities etc. If Forren has a drink problem (and that's a big if) then how was that missed? Oh well, onwards and upwards.
Didn't actually mean every day just a wrong choice of words. Anyways he has gone now so all the best and that.
A girl I know was out with Guly, Forren, Hooiveld & Schneiderlin just after the season had finished and apparently Forren was absolutely smashed, even more so than Guly. She did down a pint quicker than him though, which is quite embarrassing for him.
Vegard Forren played the full ninety for Molde FK away to Sligo Rovers tonight in the Champions League qualification rounds. He got booked, as Molde beat Sligo one-nil.
