As we are all thinking of going on a European tour in a couple of seasons, how about adopting some German, Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese songs, sung of course in the native language. Best song I have ever heard, River Plate's fans sing something that goes on for ages!! You can find a selection on YouTube!!
I'm with you on that one, so embarrassing to hear our own fans chanting "this is how it feels to be poor", it should be "That is what it's like to be Pompey" surely?
I watched a programme on TV last night called Skint which was about poverty in Scunthorpe. I can swear with the best of them but NEVER when there are women and children around. After about ten minutes of this dreadful programme I had enough especially when one so called parent said to a small child "put that ****ing toy down before I stick it up your arse". I turned the TV off then before I started having nasty right wing fascist thoughts about population cleansing.
I don't care who we're playing. I'll enjoy Accy stanley, Oxford, Fleetwodd, Southend etc etc, just as much as I enjoyed Chelsea and Man u. Big difference, is I'll be paying less than half the price. Buy the looks of it seems majority of PFC fans couldn't care less who we're playing either. Nearly 5000 ST sold in 2 weeks.
It was the same for us after we were saved...had no problem playing in league 1 as it beat the alternative.
