Get rid of all the political correct crap, everything from endless hand shakes and ceromony (get on with the game) to pumping the racial issue up at every opportunety (dont catagorize abuse either stop it all or ignore it)

What about being able to have as many subs as you like and being able to bring a player off and then send him back on again when ever the manager liked.

Field hockey has the rotating subs rule which is probably why the game is played as such intense speeds.

I also agree that games should always be decided with a win.

p49 - my idea exactly - all that fuss about was he or wasn't he ... he who was trying to gain advantage etc! Or even scrap it all together ... at least we wouldnt see 20 players in an area the size of my front lawn!!!

no offsides between the penalty boxes would great. and would certainly open up the game as mentioned. the lambert and holt types would thrive more!

I think a 5 minute sin bin for a yellow card would level the advantage. Does'nt seem right that the team who commits a foul gains a numerical advantage when a player is receiving treatment.

I like he sin bin rule, works great in Rugby where every player has his place in a machine, take a midfielder or winger and play him in the pack all the outlets break down.
but whenever a sending off occurs in Football teams can paper over the cracks, so maybe if a player sins you lose your goalkeeper and the sinned player goes into goal

Footballers are all greedy bastards and i would introduce a wage cap on each division. This would give the players an incetive to reach the next league.
League 2 upto 1000 PW = £52k
League 1 Upto 1500 PW = £78K
Championship Upto £2000 PW = 104K
Premier upto £4000 PW = £208k

I know its a short career but was for players in the 50's 60's 70's and 80's and i cant remeber any of them starving when they gave up.

This would allow football clubs to charge less and bring back Mr average that earns around £30k per year.
