EEErrree, now stop messing about On a more serious note, I agree with the point made that we seem to be getting along quite happily without a mod here on the Pompey board at the moment. It would appear that the 'better class' of Pompey and Saints fans are here on not606 at the moment so we can, for now, enjoy a mixture of proper football talk and friendly banter without any unnecessary nastiness

I used to get modded for the most ridicolous things sometimes, on 606. Usually off topic, but sometimes when I talked about politics or Redknapp (he is untouchable it seems) even though they were fair comments they got deleted. I started a thread about Keys and Gray without even mentioning their names and that became my only ARTICLE AWAITNG MODERATION. Mad.
I think it was partly because of the power crazy overzealous actions of some of the mods on 606 that the not606 site was set up by its originators. I think we are fortunate here on the Pompey not606 board that we seem to be getting on perfectly well without the necessity of a moderator. Things may change if, at the end of May when 606 closes down, the final influx includes the type of WUMs we could do without. That said, I don't think a thread will/should be deleted by a mod purely for the reason that it is a WUM article. It should be left there for every-one to see what a total knob the person who posted it is. But remember you can go to such a person's profile and add them to your 'ignore list' and you wont see their juvenile claptrap on your screen [don't forget to 'disapprove' of their comment first!]. They may eventually get the message when nobody responds to them because every-one has put an ignore against their name. As far as the removal, by the mods, of your thread on 606 Meowth, that simply wont happen on here for such an article.
Good thing too. In that situation, they were guilty beyond doubt and I merely suggested that they should be dismissed. Comments I made about Redknapp were moot points, so I suppose they were justifiably removed. As to the off topic part, this forum is a dream come true for a thread twister like me! Are you watching QPR v Forest? If so, can you believe the goal Tommy Smith scored? Why couldn't he do that for us. V selfish of him, if you ask me.
Sometimes it is funnier to come over here than to watch a comedy film. You will find out soon that you just can not escape from our growing shadow. Songs for the masses are so they don't feel the pain.
