I would rather see Rory Watson, an injured Harper, even Andy Robertson in goal before I ever see that useless pillock again.
I don't think SB will move away from the three CB formation at the moment but could tinker with those ahead of it: Jak Chester McShane Davies Elmo Livermore Huddlestone Brady/Robertson Ben Arfa Diame Hernandez for example.
We need to up the tempo of how we play, when winning possession, we seem to stop and wait for the opposition to get back into position before moving forward, I know that at time's this is due to there been no outlet up field but our general tempo is poor both with and without the ball.
Without Jelavic we are noticeably much less of an attacking threat and Hernandez is isolated on his own. Sunderlands formation against Palace was very effective, I'd like to see us do something similar against Burnley, to ensure we don't lose there.
Agreed, we need to get forward quicker, same as we did to Cardiff away last season, inflict the same on Burnleh.
