I hope nobody is mistaking my comments about Adam Pearson as criticism of him. The fact that Adam Pearson has done well out of Hull City is no more than an observation, and probably an accurate one. Hull City seem to have benefited throughout this period, coincidentally or other.

The fact that he was more recently a consultant (probably by choice) seems to be fact also. However, having worked 'successfully' (for me anyway) as consultant in a few different roles in the past, it is usually never more than a temporary contractual fix, which if as successful for the company over time, is subsequently more efficient to bring in house.

Nobody gets out of bed in the morning to do their best for anyone but themselves, so good luck to Mr Pearson in the future.

The whole process is a huge tenet of Capitalism i suppose, which many sociologists has prophesied to destroy itself in cycles anyway, although this Win-Win concept annoys me, as ultimately in order for there to be a winner in any economic system, someone has to lose!

Why has there to be winners and losers? Can't everybody benefit?

Keeping it very simple: person A sells milk to person B and person B sells carrots to person A. By specialising people are more efficient and they use capitalism to distribute what they produce. It's a lot better than everybody trying to produce everything they need.

But at the same time Commercial Banker C bribes Politician D to place a massive tax on milk so Person B cant grow enough carrots to pay for the milk so has to get a loan from Commercial Banker C to supplement his ability buy carrots. Eventually Commercial Banker C sells part of his return from Person B to Loan Shark E thus the Means of Production F no longer belong to Person B and he loses all he ever had and both Commercial Banker C and Loan Shark E win at Person B's expense. Now that's Thatcherism (sorry Capitalism!). I suppose it is simple when you put it that way? These are merely allegations of course because Solicitor G may sue me on behalf of Politician D, at my expense in favour of his (or her to remain politically correct of course).

That's not capitalism. Similar things happen under socialism.

oh come on Mr B, this is nothing to do with Politics. Its a 'normal' pub debate about Economic Theory and their respective social consequences. Sensible Keynsian economics, or the mis-guided views of a discredited unproven idiot called Freidman, who an equally idiotic mad women called Thatcher decided to use as an untested model to f**k up Britain.

Anyway, good luck to Mr Pearson in whatever way he chooses to make his money in the future, and equally to Dr Allam and whoever succeeds him at Hull City in progressing his own aims and those of OUR club!

Agreed. Line in the sand has been drawn and we move on. Onto better times and back to the PL.

I suspect the crass spending in the past and some of the AP/NP deals did not go down well with the Allams.

The Allams have now put up so we must shut up and back them. From what i am hearing its looking better than very good at the moment.

Messrs KOREN and ROSENOIR wanted the club to show its ambition and there can be no doubts now. Happy days.

    PL here we ciome.

Isn't that in itself a political statement, favouring as it does the status quo?

Why doesn't someone ban this ******, for offences including the lowering of City fans' IQ through the posting of drivel, bile and utter ****e?

Some, such as THE FRENCH TICKLER, are already too far gone to be saved.

    RIP Tickler <rose>

Polite response: I feel you're somewhat harsh- I feel I have raised some valid points on a wide range of topics as can be verified by checking my posting history, and have avoided mindless sledging unless compelled to respond in kind.

Rude response: change your tampon, silly ****, it's leaking onto this forum

Choose your answer- I ain't fussed either way
