i think they are spending the money that the club has saved from mr pearson's monthly consultancy fee! i ve said all along, Adam Pearson has been extremely good for Hull City, but much better for Adam Pearson throughout!

does anyone really think he bought Ulleffsee cos he loves Rugby, or that he every worked at Marks & Sparks cos he loves lingerie. Good luck to him but I d like to know what he earned as a consultant?

    Yourself one of them, seemingly.

Mr Allam didn't realise how big a deal it was getting rid of NB and AP at all and couldn't understand the backlash from fans. <<Fact

I reckon this is the main reason for the change in stance, to get the fans back on their side. <<My opinion

I heard he only got rid of NB to upset you! Nothing personal he said he just wanted to **** you off. Well thats what I heard when I was at my school prom anyway.

When AP " jumped ship" the season before we went up to the premiership, it was obvious he had never visualised City getting there.
It wasn't down to his efforts that we eventually got there !
When he returned, he still had the "lower leagues" mentality and I believe that the Allams saw through him and did the obvious thing !
The fact that he preferred to invest in Hull FC, rather than City was, I believe the final straw for the that finished him.
He, also was the one pushing for NB to replace NP as manager. Nence the departure of Nick not long after !

    Talk about rewriting history....

AP left because he didn't have the money to fund a serious push on the Premiership

He got us from Div 2 beggars to respectable in the black medium sized Championship club, used to hosting International U21 games, respected nationwide.Hardly a lower league mentality

We'll never know the full story of the Hull Fc investment and the reasons for it. I thought at the time it was to ease the purchase of the KC, and that the Allams were involved.

The rest of your post does not merit a response.

The beauty of these boards is people will always agree and disagree. In my opinion not everybody's, Pearson didn't have the ambition to take this club to the top level. He is a businessman and you can guarantee he got alot more than he put in. The allams have done a lot for this club and to appoint Steve Bruce was another great thing they have done for this club, ok the way the got rid if nick was unjust but its happened. Pearson was a different matter he had to go, be it lack of his ambition towards the club or the main fact he had a conflict of interest by owning the rugby club. I'm surprised they put up with it for as long as they did. I read everybody's views with interest and whatever there opinions they are entitled to them. At the end of the day we a love hull city and that's what matters

He might have been let go with justification but he is one of the key figures in the clubs turnaround from League 2 nobodies to where we are now. Sorry for my morons comment everybody entitled to their point of view like you say.

AP told NB on a number of times that no money was there ... basically AP screwed a club legend wghilst taking 3 ( count so far) corporate sponsers from hull city .... you think FC will get anything ? next season they will be crippled thanks to owners who know what they are doing

and i will add , why do you think AP came back ? , it was the £4mil he was owed from the previous "regime" .....

AP never actually owned the club, he was just a front man, so he was never owed £4m in the first place, so it was hardly his motivation for a return.

I'm aware of the sponsorship thing and the use of the City mailing list. I thought using the mailing list was out of order, I don't know exactly what went on with the sponsors, that was possibly out of order too, though I understand it was something worse that led to him being binned.

AP came to this club when it was up **** creek, he brought in investment, he handled the move to the KC, he oversaw two promotions and some great times. I think he deserves our gratitude, he may have done something out of order during his second stint, in fact I understand he did, but that doesn't detract from the gratitude that he's earned. We might well not be where we are now if it wasn't for him and that deserves at least a little respect.

No way the Allams were telling Nicky to spend spend spend... everything pointed towards the opposite... clearly this is an act of redemption or they finally realised that this football malarchy isn't as easy as it seemed and that you need to dig deeper in the pockets for success.

TWF and the AP slaggers are absolute knobheads. I don't care if I'm out of order. Enough is enough really. ****ing pisstake they are. Miserable little sods.

One point I've never seen mentioned is when the Allams finally took over and had time to go over every detail of the club they found it to be in far worse condition than they were led to believe. As I believe AP played a big part in the sale, maybe withholding information about just how poor a state the finances were in was a grudge the Allams have never forgotten.

Seems that because things have changed many fans are now anti AP instead of him being the Sir Adam name that was always bantered about. Also it was not long ago that a lot of fans were anti Allams without knowing the full fact as to why they sacked NB and what was their future intentions. Now the Allams are sudenly heros. Instead of mouthing off why cant fans be a little patient to see how things transpire. Lets move on, nothing can change what had previously happened and hopefully there is a better future for the club.

Is that going to be your new "stock reply" to anyone who doesn't agree with you?
