I'd have bet my old nan to have put them away.

Le Fondre has scored 0 goals this season. That is lamentable.

Worst striker I have seen for some time down the City. He has cost City quite a few points recently - his 2 chances missed at Millwall still haunt me.

The only glimmer of hope is that the playing against the former club syndrome may play in his favour next time around - but don't hold your breath.

Slade should have picked up somebody on loan or given Guerra a chance irrespective of what has been going on behind the scenes with him.

As for Mason, yes he would have buried them and so probably would have Rhys Healey but both are plying their trade elsewhere.

Sorry guys, can't agree with you hailing Joe or Rhys Healey as potential Messiahs.

Joe was sent out on loan, again, for very good reasons. He was not considered good enough for our squad but still had the ability to develop. He has done okay at Bolton but is not always in their starting 11 (game v. us excluded).

Much the same for Healey who has done okay at Colchester but at a lower level again.

Joe is well liked by City fans but that does not make him the answer to our problems. Does he deserve a chance under Slade? Probably yes, but no guarantee he will do any better than the others.

Our problem is we do not have enough possession and get the ball into goal scoring areas often enough. Yes, 2 good chances saved - not missed on Saturday. They both hit the target but the keeper made good saves - that happens, its football ffs.

We are playing better football with ALF and Macheda upfront. With KWJ we will inevitably resort to long ball tactics as he does not have the mobility or pace of the others to run channels and pressurise defences. Maynard has lost a yard of pace after his injury and clearly Guerra has upset the management by his attitude in the Bournemouth game and possibly in other areas.

I still believe ALF will come good - probably needs for from our midfield and wingers. Macheda I think has limited scope but certainly gives more for the team than KWJ.

Clearly we need another goal scorer as well as midfield support in January.

See Daehli's WoL article yesterday? He wants out unless he gets more game time. I can understand that but when has he done more than decorate the game from time to time when playing for us? I guess Norway have a different set up which suits his style.

I see Kenwyne scored twice last night for T & T in their international 3-1 win. At least he's keeping fit over there with these Caribbean Cup games.

Get him back over here and stick him in for Reading. If Slade insists on playing two up, and being it's a home game against his old club, play ALF up there with him.

I can't see where else the goals are going to come from unless Slade changes the system and tries to get players like Ravel and Daehli coming from deeper positions to score.

I havnt got a clue on my clubs players anymore and it would be hypocritical of me 2 pretend 2 know how they are playing form wise, but im getting the feeling from fellow posters that the players have gone lazy and seem 2think they can just turn up and grab ridiculous amounts of wages, knowing the manager gets the sack on bad results rather than themselves...........this isn't the only club running like this at the moment tho, if you ask me that's what happened at man utd last season the players didn't have the guts to fight for the results and a good manager given time took the hit......its a fking joke that players keep getting away with the 50percent attitude whilst managers become fall guys and fans get robbed of hard earned cash.

some fat greedy twats we got hey <shame>
