I just don't think I could hack another decade in the lower tier league, we certainly deserve Championship football at the gate.
We also deserve a team worthy of playing at that level, and to be honest we rode our luck for 2 seasons before we did get relegated. Only then will the team get the fans they deserve
No it's their annual dawn of false expectations like being the Barcelona of the lower leagues we should all praise the Sag who came up with that given us so much fun
Can't quite understand this. Why do you think you deserve Championship football at the Gate? Are you talking about the fans who barely half filled your stadium when you weren't doing so well? Are you talking about your owner who failed miserably with manager decisions and then appointed one for the last 20 games but didn't support him financially? Are you talking about the bunch of no hopers on the field playing for your club last season? Are you talking about a new (ish) manager now supposedly building a team for promotion, but with one arm tied behind his back by your owner? .......or are you just too big a club to be anywhere below that level?

And your fans saying they deserved Premiership football at Ninian Park and the CCS were not in the same frame of mind? We all want what is best for our clubs regardless of where they currently are having been at the top table for a while then to have the few years up to 82 is hard for many fans to take then when after years of trying to almost get there and not to kick on and develop the team again makes it hard to take but we remain mostly optimistic as do all fans that this might be our year if we didn't how many fans would any club get even yours? the answer not many if they thought you were going to get thrashed in every game you wouldn't have sold many tickets same as at Ashton Gate every year we hope it will get better the triumph of optimism over experience.
I had a look ROD they seem very generous most ssy we will be going back up. They say we have made some excellent signing. I agree with one comment we have the best keeper in the division,the best midfielder,and possibly the best centre back. Happy days.

One of your guys posted a comment on the thread about you deserving Champ football, so I thought I'd start a healthy discussion by posting a fair question about a club (any club) "deserving" a level of football that for whatever reason, they have failed to maintain. Unfortunately, you're the only one to reply, and with a reasoned answer as well to be fair. I sincerely hope we all get what we "deserve" - whatever that is.
Morning OS They say you get what you deserve in life, and at the moment we fully deserve 3rd division football as we have an owner who seemingly cannot put a foot wrong in the world of business and yet he is someone that makes continual schoolboy errors in running his football club. Whether CCFC deserve to be in the Prem is also a valid question. On last years form then the answer is a resounding yes. Do I like and approve of all of the rebranding, sell out actions and silliness that has accompanied your march to the top flight, then no.
